Clubhouse

South Herts benefits from a welcoming clubhouse that overlooks the course from the ridge in Totteridge. There are glorious views of the first and eighteenth from the bars, lounges and restaurant, and there are few more pleasant ways to wind down after a summer game of golf than sitting on the extensive terrace with a drink or a pot of tea. The locker rooms have recently been refurbished to the highest standard, and together with a well stocked pro shop make the facilities at South Herts unrivaled.

Bars and Lounges

The Main Bar and Members Bar offer a wide range of soft and alcoholic beverages at exceptionally reasonable prices and the comprehensive wine list offers particularly good value. The various lounges provide comfortable surroundings in which to enjoy a drink with friends either after a game of golf or before dining. Unlike many golf clubs in the area, the Club generally keeps normal licensing hours and the two snooker tables are in regular use by members in the evenings.

Restaurant

The Club has long had a reputation for the high quality of its restaurant both for big society meetings and for less formal lunches and evening meals. Visiting societies never fail to appreciate the fine standard of cuisine. Sunday lunch and Friday fish and chips are particular favourites with the members and the many special occasion dinners and dances are consistently well patronised. There are also a number of themed dining-in evenings throughout the year which are popular with members, their families and friends.
